This weeks Tip:
You know all those feathers your birds have been loosing? Why not put them to use? Save the good ones and make a picture of your budgie with them by glooing them to paper. Then you'll have a picture if your bird with a real part of your budgie in it. I got this I idea from Diane's web site. Thanks Diane. Have fun!!
Idea for 1st week of march:
Make your budgie a toy by getting a stick. Make sure it's not sprayed and clean it off. Drill a hole at the top of it and hang it in the budgie's cage with a twisty (not the kind with plastic around it) or wire. They love to chew on these toys and it keeps their beak's filed down.

Idea for 2nd week of March:
When you first get your budgie you are probably going to be excited. If you get one from a pet store or breeder there will most likely be allot to choose from. Don't let your excitement get in the way of choosing a healthy bird. Stand back and find out which ones are healthy. Then find one that is the color, male or female, that you wanted.
